Community Letter from NMD Pharma: completion of its Phase 2 SYNAPSE-SMA clinical trial of ignaseclant (formerly NMD670)
NMD Pharma has announced the completion of its Phase 2 SYNAPSE-SMA clinical trial of ignaseclant (formerly NMD670), an investigational therapy designed to improve skeletal muscle function by inhibiting the chloride ion channel 1 (ClC-1). The study enrolled 52 ambulatory adults living with SMA, and results are expected later this summer.
